Caboose Train

Once a year, all the privately-owned cabooses may be ridden in a special train comprised completely of "cabeese." Railfans will enjoy several photo run-bys during the excursion which lasts approximately 3 hours and travels to the end of the line in East Logan.

This year's excursion is Saturday, September 4, 2010. It is scheduled to depart at 11:00 a.m.

Cost: Adult $27; Child (3-12) $18 (Under 3 yrs. old ride free but must sit on guardian's lap.) Advance reservations are suggested since seating is very limited on this unique train.

TICKETS PURCHASED ONLINE WILL BE HELD AT THE DEPOT. Tickets MUST be picked 30 minutes prior to the departure time of the train. Any ticket order canceled less than 48 hours in advance will be charged a $10 fee.

Tickets may also be purchased in the depot. The depot opens two hours prior to departure of the first train.

Note:
Individual seats are not assigned.
Only the B&O car has air conditioning.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks are permitted on the ride but not served.
Smoking is not permitted on any part of train at any time.
Only certified guide/service dogs accompanying passengers with disabilities are permitted on the train.
The train runs regardless of the weather.
Train schedules are adhered to as closely as possible but we reserve the right to adjust them.
Any refunds made less than 48 hours before departure will be assessed a fee of $10.
