Fourth of July Trains and Fireworks Shuttle

We invite you to take the train to enjoy "Thunder in the Valley," the largest fireworks display in southeast Ohio. You'll avoid the hassle of getting out of the parking lot at Hocking College after the fireworks and enjoy the three-mile roundtrip to and from the fireworks (which start at 10 p.m.) via the train.

The fireworks shuttle train will depart the Nelsonville depot at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. One train will return everyone to the depot after the fireworks display ends.

The cost is $2 per passenger for the round trip.

New this year, we've added two daytime trains at noon and 2:30 p.m. (Please see our regular weekend trains to Haydenville and Logan for more information.) Any one who rides either of these trains can show their ticket stub for a free shuttle ride to see the evening fireworks.
